Sometimes, you may need to provide a record of the order to your customer. Many businesses send an invoice or bill for this purpose, which you can also do using WholeCell. Alternatively, you have the option to download the sales order itself, which might be more suitable for certain situations. Here's how you can do it:
Navigate to the specific sales order and locate the download button at the top of the page:
If you only need to download a sales order once, you may not need to save a template. But in case you may need a template for future orders, you can save it on the Settings page. There's a link that will direct you to that page from this window (see note on the top part of the Custom Download window). Alternatively, you can click this too to save your sales order download templates: https://www.wholecell.io/settings/download_templates
On the Custom Download window, you'll see three sections and the choices under the sections.
Grouping - This is what you will be downloading and how you want them to be displayed.
Sales Order Items - these are the products that were ordered (but not yet committed to the order)
Grouped Committed Inventory - actual inventory items that you are sending to the customer but in grouped view
Individual Committed Inventory - actual inventory items but in itemized/individual view, including the IMEIs and WholeCell IDs.
Format - This is the format of the file that you will download

Spreadsheet
WholeCell import—This is also a spreadsheet, but the data will come from the PO where the items are from (in your account) and will include the paid price. This is typically used if you are selling to a WholeCell customer, too. They can upload this file to import the inventory to their WholeCell account.
Prices - check if you want to show the prices of the order items
Sort By - What data in the download file do you want to sort (in descending order)
Product Name
Item Price
Total Price
Quantity
Choose from any of the choices from each section, and then click on the 'Download' button.
Download Multiple Sales Orders
You can also print multiple sales orders all at once as long as you have saved templates (https://www.wholecell.io/settings/download_templates?type=sales_order).
