WholeCell allows you to create Swappa Enterprise listings directly from your inventory, helping you save time and simplify the listing process.
Before creating listings, you’ll first need to create a Swappa Listing Template. Templates help standardize your listings by automatically populating details such as headlines, descriptions, condition mappings, and shipping information.
Creating a Swappa Listing Template
To create a listing template, navigate to: Integrations > Swappa > Listing Templates or visit: https://www.wholecell.io/integrations_dashboard/swappa/listing_templates
Click the “+ New Listing Template” button.
The listing template stores the information that will be displayed to your customers on Swappa. Templates use the Liquid templating language for the Headline, Description, and Damage Description fields, allowing you to dynamically insert product attributes into your listings.
On the New Swappa Listing Template page, you can configure the following:
Template Name
Used to identify your template within WholeCell.Headline
The title that will appear on your Swappa listing.Description
The main product description shown to customers.Damage Description
Additional notes regarding cosmetic condition or imperfections.Shipping Information
Information about shipping methods, handling times, or policies.Condition Mapping
Allows you to map your WholeCell grades to Swappa’s condition grades.
You can use product attributes from the product variation directly within the template fields to automatically populate listing details. Once your template is ready, make sure to set it as your default template (unless you plan to use another template as default later), then click Save.
Creating a Swappa Listing
After saving your template, click on the Listing Opportunities tab. From there, locate the SKU you want to list and click “Create Listing” on the right side.
You can further edit the listing before exporting it to Swappa. This allows you to customize the listing details and make any necessary adjustments.
Product Images
The images available for selection come from the gallery of the product variation in WholeCell. If no images appear, it means that images have not yet been uploaded to that product in your WholeCell catalog.
Reviewing Listing Details
Many listing details will be automatically pre-filled based on your product data and selected template. However, you should still review the information carefully and update any fields that may be inaccurate or incomplete.
The Headline, Description, and Damage Description sections will automatically use the content from your selected template, but you may edit them further if needed.
Once everything looks correct, enter the desired price in the Price field and click “Create Listing.”
The listing will then be created on Swappa and connected in WholeCell. When you add more inventory of that SKU or if that SKU sells on other channels, WholeCell will automatically update the Swappa listings quantity.
