While WholeCell doesn't have a built-in integration specifically for Amazon FBA, you can still manage your FBA inventory with a simple workflow using existing features.
Step 1: Separate FBA Inventory
When you're sending inventory to Amazon for FBA:
Create a Process Batch in WholeCell for the items you’re shipping to Amazon.
Assign a custom inventory status like "FBA" or "Sent to Amazon" to these items.
This helps clearly separate them from your regular inventory.
It also keeps your team informed that these units are stored in Amazon's fulfillment centers.
Step 2: Handling Returns from Amazon
If you receive returned items from Amazon and want to document the full lifecycle of those units:
Create a Manual Sales Order in WholeCell to reflect the original sale.
Create an RMA tied to that sales order to record the return.
This method ensures that your records in WholeCell reflect both the outbound shipment to Amazon and any inbound returns, even though the fulfillment details are handled by Amazon.
