How to add MacBooks, Laptops, PCs, and other products to WholeCell

You can track computers and other non-cellphone products in WholeCell - you just have to get a little creative with our product fields.

For example, for a computer we recommend using WholeCell's “Variant” column to describe the processor, RAM, and GPU (if relevant). Here’s a WholeCell product for a MacBook Pro:

We have plans to add user-customizable product types in the future. Until then you can add these items to your catalog using the Variant column to store any product-specific information (or whatever other methodology you like).
